Appointment of Director
The Board of Chloride is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Cobbold as Chief Operating Officer and as an executive director of Chloride Group PLC ("Chloride") effective 1 June 2007.
Mr Cobbold, 44, obtained his degree in mechanical engineering before qualifying as a chartered accountant. He subsequently moved into general management with TI Group, where he was Operations Director, Bundy UK and Managing Director, Deep Sea Seals. He continued his career progression following the acquisition of TI Group by Smiths Group, with senior management appointments in the John Crane division. In his most recent role within Smiths Group, Mr Cobbold is responsible for integrating a major US acquisition within the Smiths Medical business.
Mr Cobbold will be responsible for all Chloride's operational activities, reporting directly to Chloride's Chief Executive, Keith Hodgkinson.
Chloride confirms that there is no other information to be disclosed under the requirements of Listing Rule 9.6.13 in relation to this appointment.
